JAL released new "Doraemon" design airplane for the 30th anniversary of Doraemon. 

This airplane will fly between Haneda(Tokyo) and Sapporo, Itami, Nagoya, Hukuoka, Okinawa. From March to April, you can see the movie of Doraemon as well as its animation in the airplane.

If you like Doraemon and have a chance to come to see around Japan, you should use this airplane.

XO JAPAN went to the event called "ROOMS". It is the biggest fashion event in Japana. There, Kaoru-san ( cast of the XO JAPAN. you can see her previous show from below embedded video.) could interview some exhibitors. There were many exhibitors, buyers, and so on.

Wonder Festival held

On 7th of February, there held Wonder Festival in Makuhari Dome, Chiba. It is a festival collecting huge numbers of figures of several animations and some original figure created by amateur.

This is a figure of combat aircraft which is appeared in the animation movie "Sky Crawlers". This aircraft is half a size of the real one. Its length is  3825mm and width is 3870mm. It's amazing!!

The clothes store called "HARAJUKU Street Style" opened at department store called TANGS at Orchard in Singapore. As you can see from the name of this store, this store is selling Japanese style clothes.

On opening day, there held a small fashion show. Below videos are what it was like.

Apparel Web is trying to spread the Japanese Fashion all over the world. And the XO JAPAN which we are running is also one of the attempts to promote and spread the Japanese Fashion around the world. Keep watching our attempts.

Japan Media Arts Festival

From 3rd to 14th of February, at National Art Center Tokyo, there holding "Media Arts Festival".

There are some interesting arts, manga, anime, and so on.

From the outside of the National Art Center Tokyo(bad picuture.. I will try to increase my skill.)

at the entrance of the National Art Center Tokyo (this is also bit bad picture..) The waving surface is a feature of this building designed by Kishou Kurokawa(黒川紀章).

inside the building. it's like inside the space station. there are cafe and restaurant on the huge pillar.

In side the Media Art Festival Booth. There're a lot of arts, manga, and so on. This booth is Manga booth. you can see some scripts and storyboard.

  

It is interesting that there is "Twitter Room" and "Manga Reading Room". This event has hash tag on Twitter. all of the paticipant of this event can join the discussion on Twitter. "Manga Reading Room" was really funny because everyone doesn't talk anything just reading Manga quietly. 

There had a presentation session called "ART Apps Collection". It is a presentation which present  and discuss mixture of Application such as iPhone and Android and Art such as music, picuture, graphic and so forth. It was interesting.

Dinner @KotoKoto(ことこと) on Saturday

I went to eat dinner at KotoKoto(ことこと) on Saturday. KotoKoto is serving some Japanese home-made food. All of the food is really delicious and I like the cozy and relaxing atmosphere which is like I'm in a home.

KotoKoto（ことこと）is the sound of boiling soup or cutting something on the board.
